Hi I’m not new to Sony Vegas and I’ve mastered how to use cookie cutter itself however, i’m a bit stumped on how AMV and video makers can create a diagonal cookie cutter effect. Here is an example shown at 0:36 on this video:

I’d be grateful for anyone to tell me how this is done as i can’t seem to find a tutorial anywhere to help me, also if this can be explained in… less complicated words ^^ Just so i can understand better and to not make a fool of myself.

    Thanks, Lizzie.

Move on from Cookie Cutter. What it does is great, but you are now finding, it is limited.

For the example you’ve shown, I would be using:

    1] Track Motion

2] Multi track Media options and compositing

3] Bezier Masking and Pan/Crop rotation.

Using either ALL or SOME of these Functions above, in combination, will give you the control and ease for changes that Cookie Cutter just doesn’t have.

    Grazie
