Adding text on background at the bottom
I know how to add text to the bottom of a clip, but how do I put that text on a solid background. A a solid background that only covers the bottom 1/4th of the screen, so the text will be easier to read, with the video still visible in the top 3/4 of the screen? I have tried this with text and using the checkerboard, sizing it to be just a band across the bottom, but I can’t get the text to appear on top of the color band.

Your text has to be on track #1 (the top one).
