    hello,

I just captured around 200 GB of HDV footage with Sony Vegas 7 (they are m2t files)

I am trying to obtain Cineform HD NeoScene or HD or any of these programs that convert the m2t’s to lossless avi..

I used one of the Cineform HD codecs before and it worked awesome.. But the trial ran out.

So now a year later,, I am just trying to download a trial of ANY of these products that will allow me to convert these m2ts to a USABLE avi workflow..

The cineform.com site is crazy. I filled out the info to recieve a trial download link in email. Got nothing. Tried other products with other emails.. Got nothing.

Do they like personally approve companies to allow them to try their product or something? I just want to download a trial.

This is crazy.. does anyone know of a free product that simply converts the m2ts into a fast lossless format ?

I will pay the $129 for the Cineform Neoscene but I am not even sure the thing will send me a link. The idea of paying such a large amount of $ for a DOWNLOAD is crazy. Don’t they offer the software on a disc or something?

Please, any help would be appreciated, I need to start editing this HDV footage for a deadline and the M2T is just way to sluggish

I haven’t had any problems. I got a trial link to Neo Scene shortly after sending the request. It wasn’t immediate but it was fairly quick.

Save yourself some money and buy it for $99 from VideoGuys.com.

You’ve got to be kidding! Do you think the software is worth more because it was burned to a 30 cent piece of plastic? You are paying for use of the intellectual property that went into creating the software. The CD adds nothing to it’s usefulness.
