Video Render stays at 0%
So i was using sony vegas 8.0. I was editing a project, then it suddenly froze and crashed. From then on, I couldn’t open that file without it crashing or getting an error. All other files worked perfectly.
I upgraded to Sony Vegas 9.0, and I can open the project now. I want to render the project to avoid any more nuances. The thing is, the render bar stays at 0%.
I’ve tried all file types, and it stays that way. What am I to do?

The first question ill have to ask you is:
What is the format of the video/videos on the timeline?

I know you’re going to say something along teh lines of that it’s not a good format to begin with.
I have never had a problem with these files. For over a year, these files have run perfectly. I have many projects using these files and they are fine.
And I got them from a capture card named adaptec gamebridge. -
Perhaps one of the files is corrupt? I would try and render reach file alone in a new project. No need to actually do the render… just make sure the render gets above 0% and then cancel. You may find that several work and one stays at 0%. That’s the file that is giving you trouble. Start with the file that is at the beginning of the timeline.

I’ll try that. Too bad there over 300 clips in the file X_X
Wait, there are some files with red thumbnails that appear only SOMETIMES. Any chance that those are the corrupt files? -
