  Multi-cam shooting and editing

  Hello.

  Is there an easy way to do multi-cam?

  If I have two of the same camera, and use a clapper board to make an audio synch point, I think I just line up the two footages on two tracks, parallel to each other.

  Then is there a quick and easy way to switch back and forth between the two timelines as I play through the timeline one time, and come up with a composite track?

  Vegas Pro 8 also has a multicam option.
  While not as flexible or feature-laden as the two that Theo mentioned, it’s a start if you have no money 🙂

  I am not rich, but time is precious, so I will probably opt for either Ultimate S, or Excalibur.

  I used Vegas multicam with up to 6 sd and hd cams for a music video i just finished. I worked excellent. you can see the video at youtube.com/geimanbros the video is birdland
