  Pro Type Titler: no edit window?

  I’m using Vegas Pro 9 and am brand new to it. I’m trying to use the titler and I don’t seem to get the pro type titler to pop up when I drag it down to the timeline from the media generator. Every tutorial I see has it just popping up right away but I’m missing something there.

  It could be popping up off screen? Is it possible you dragged it off screen at one point? The only thing I can think of is to reset Vegas but that will loose any customizations you have done in the preferences. You do this by holding down Ctrl+Shift while you start Vegas. It should reset Vegas back to the settings of the first time you installed it.

  Thanks for the settings reset tip! It didn’t fix my problem (oddly) but I just re-installed Vegas and it works like it should. I must have messed up something before.
