Waves on my video after rendering? Please Help!
i’ve been using vegas for a long time now, and just recently, my footage comes out with a wavy line effect on the edges of whatevers in the shot. i just upgraded to vegas pro 9, and i use a sony handycam with a hard drive. I usually always render with mpeg-1. again this just started happening. any suggestions!?

It sounds like the wavy lines are interlace lines and MPEG1 went out in the 90’s. (ok… maybe early 2K… ;-)) Which handycam? What are your Vegas project settings? and forget about MPEG1. What is you target display medium? DVD? TV? Web? Media Server? Let’s find a modern format for you to render to.

yeah i also just started getting that on my videos too, its so frustrating, can someone please help? is it something on the project properties or the renderin settings???
