audible click at beginning of song when rendering
I’m using Vegas 8 and when I render to .wav file, I’m getting a click at about 1/2 second after the song starts. This click isn’t present when playing Vegas only when the mix is rendered. Any ideas?

Are you applying any external audio plugin

The only external plug-in I’m using is a Waves L2 as an audio assignable FX on the Master pre-fader.
I recreated the same mix again today in Vegas 6 exactly the same way as I did in Vegas 8, and there was no click. Any ideas, Thanks.

As i have guessed….Using Waves plugin on your audio
in Vegas Pro 8 will give you that click you are experiencing.
If you are gonna use any Waves plugin you gonna have to work
around that 1-2 second click intro.
However that click does not occur in Vegas Pro 9 nor
as you pointed out in earlier versions of Vegas.Steve Rhoden
