Absolute Best Quality Settings to Render With?
I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 and I just want how to achieve the absolute best quality. I normally use mpg with the quality slider all the way up and thats about it.

well normally i render to MPEG-1, but im asking overall. is the best looking .mov better than the best looking MPEG-1 for example. And its destined for dvd.

Since this is destined for DVD, you want to render out of Vegas to MPEG-2 for your video and AC-3 for your audio as this will give you the best quality with the least problems.
