Fad the logo
Posted by Nico Stojanovski on May 9, 2009 at 8:59 amIs there any good feature that can fade or completely remove a logotype on a channel in Vegas?

May 9, 2009 at 10:32 amThere is a handy free video processor that everyone should have in their kit called VirtualDub. It has several internal filters and many 3rd party filters that are all free and rival some of the commercial packages out there. (The most famous one is probably DeShaker which will steady shaky hand-held footage) One of the filters you can get is called logoaway another is DeLogo. Both of those will remove a logo by combining the pixels around it to blend it into the background. I’ve used logoaway v2.4 with good results.

May 9, 2009 at 1:07 pmThanks, I will use an own logo on top of it instead of blurring it out.
The question now is, I have a split scene where I pan/crop zoom. The problem that gives me is that my logo doesn’t follow the aspect ratio, my logo is at the same place and when the zoom goes forward the original logo starts to appear. -

May 9, 2009 at 2:09 pmDo you want the logo to zoom? If so, copy and paste the keyframes to make the logo zoom as well. If not, the other logo is going to move when you zoom. That’s why you should blur it out.
