Sony Vegas – When previewing, I only hear sound and see nothing…
I just installed Vegas 8. I was trying out different preview settings and I hit apply and I think the ‘display preview in secondary monitor’ option was selected and I have no secondary monitor. Ever since I can not get it back and im not even sure if this is why when I click on a video it doesnt automatically display in the preview window. All I hear is sound so I know its playing but just cant see it. Its a lame problem but its annoying no less… Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Even when I click Default all settings it doesn’t work.

Go to the trimmer tab and disable “show video monitor“.
Then make sure that the auto preview button is also
enabled in the explorer tab.Steve Rhoden

Wow talk about an easy solution for something that was driving me crazy haha. I cant thank you enough. It is MOST appreciated as Im still very much getting used to Vegas 8.
