  Vegas platinum 9b problems

  First “show me how stopped responding”
  Today, I couldn’t open projects I have been working on. It gave me error about compatibility and will show only audio track. Now when I try, it doesn’t even show audio tracks. Just a blank timeline for audio and nothing for video.
  I tried to open the original video file and It refuses to open it, without even giving an error.
  The day before, DVD architects didn’t work and I had to reinstall it.
  What is going on. I love the features of Vegas, I just hate working with it, maybe filled with bugs.

  If I was you, I’d be taking a close look at my computer.
  The problems you’re having are not typical Vegas problems.
  When was the last time you did a full virus/malware scan?
  What other software have you installed recently?
  What kind of computer (i.e. CPU speed) do you have?
  How many hard drives?
  Are they getting full?
  What’s your OS?
  How much RAM do you have?
  What kind of footage are you trying to edit (i.e. DV, HDV, AVCHD)?
