How come when I play some clips on the video track it works the first time then turns red and only plays audio the second time?
OK I don’t know if anyone already asked this question but I need some help.
So I used a digital camera (not a camcorder which is what i normally use) to capture a video me and my friend made but when I put the video on the program it worked for the first few clips but a lot of the shorter clips would show the whole video perfectly but when i tried to play it again the preview turned red, the video went black, and only the audio played and the video only played when the audio got really loud.
Anyone have a solution to this?

What codec does the digital camera use? It may be one that Vegas doesn’t edit well. You could try converting to the video to a more edit friendly format with a tool like Super(c). Usually video from still image cameras is very hard to edit because they each use a different non-standard format.
