I’m getting really tired with the split in Vegas. Very often when I split scenes from where I delete the clip after my split, often frames from that clip get included in my clip.
Even when I scroll full, meaning I split exact where the frame changes and the time in milliseconds, after i render I only see that still it it’s included.

This is taking a huge time for me.

Vegas always splits exactly where I ask it to.

What type of file are you splitting?

All I can think of is that you don’t have the Quantize to Frames option (toolbar icon or Alt+F8) enabled.
If this is disabled, you can split at a place that’s not exactly on a frame boundary and it will cause a lot of problems.

As mike said…enable the Quantize to Frames.
And when you zoom in fully on the timeline, you use the
arrow keys on the keyboard to accurately go to
    where you want the split.
