I made several small clips from one large capture. I forgot to save one of the clips (as a project – I did render it for DVDA). I want to find the exact in and out points in the large capture so I can re-create the project I failed to save, edit it, and finally save it (as a project). Is there a way to find the starting and ending points of the original capture that I used to create the clip and finally the rendered file (without trying to find them by trial and error – with my eyes)?
    Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, nope. my solution would be to plop that rendered file on a track above the original footage, and move the rendered clip until it synced completely with the original stuff, mark the I/O points then remove the top track, SAVE the project etc etc etc.

    🙂
