Splitting and merge together
How do I make two scenes that have been splited, into one clip? So the get pasted together and act as one.

One way is to “group” the two pieces/
There are scripts that will rejoin Splits.

That works fine for moving. But the splits are still visible, and can make trouble when fading the audio or the video as it still goes by where it was split.

Also when adding Video FX it just adds to the already splitted part.

Why would you fade the audio or video at the split?
Didn’t you join them so they’d be one clip?Also when adding Video FX it just adds to the already splitted part.
The only way to work around this is to render the two split segments together as a new file and bring it back into Vegas as one event instead of two.

Couple options:
1. Instead of trying to fade the event(s), use track-level envelopes. Composite Level envelope for video, volume envelope for audio. Also, apply FX to the track instead of to the event(s).
2. (Assuming you’re using a recent version of Vegas Pro.) Save this collection of split events to a VEG file and then bring that VEG into a new project. Vegas will treat this as an event that you can then move, fade, whatever.
