  • Widescreen Redenering W/O AVI format (which is too big)

    Hi

I want to render a widescreen video….however only AVI seems to be compatible so far. Problem is, the video (of 5 minutes) comes out to 1.5GB so its way to big.

Is there any other format I can reder AVI in and keep the size under 50mb? When I render it as a wmv (which doesn’t seem to support widescreen) its only 23 mb.

What is your target device? If it’s the web, use the Sony AVC or MainConcept AVC type for small mp4 files. If it’s a DVD use the MainConcept MPEG-2 format. Both support widescreen.

…try changing the PAR setting on one custom rendering template to get wide-WMV… I’ve done it before to get perfect widescreen WMVs…

    good luck
