Curious cursor question?
Just curious as to why and why not the following happens with the cursor in the timeline, v 8.0c
Sometimes when I add media to the end of the timeline the timeline ‘shuffles’ left and keeps the outpoint of the added clip within the timeline boundaries. Most often though when I add media to the very end of the timeline it doesn’t ‘shuffle’ the timeline. I have to physically drag the timeline with the ruler ‘hand’ symbol to the left to give me room to add more media to the end of the timeline. Is there a way to keep the outpoint of the last added clip cantered on the timeline while you work? If there is a method I have forgotten it because I don’t seem to recall this behaviour before. It’s happening on both XP and Vista.
