Using special characters in Vegas
Does anyone know how to insert special characters into the Vegas Text generator, such as the grave and accute accents used over the letter e as used in French?

Hi,
Simply type it. I guess, you have a french keyboard, so you can type it.
If you dont get the exact letter, then chage the font. I’m hungarian, and I had problems with our letters “őűíú”. Some fonts allow to type them in vegas, some don’t.If you still need a particular font, which does not allow to type your special char in vegas, try to type your text in photoshop, and add it as graphic. This workaround helped me hudred times. 😉

Do you mean like è, é or ê?
Use the Character Map found in System Tools and use the appropriate Alt+numbers.
Note: this must be done using the numeric keypad.
BTW, the above are Alt+0232, Alt+0233 and Alt+0234 respectively. -

p.s. this is also the place you go to get characters like © (Alt+0169) and ® (Alt+0174) to use in your videos.
