  • Keeping same distance between objects when sacaling

    Hi list!

How is it possible to keep the same distance between objects / text when sacaling one or several objects.

The idea is to have a screen full of words, all the same size, all with the same distance. Now i’d like to scale up one of the words, but the surrounding words / objects should keep the same distance to the scaled word? Does this make sense?

thx for any help / tips, cheers patric

The Text Tool, in fact, a single instance of the Tet Tool could very likely do this for you. Another option is to use Paragraph text. Which one you choose depends on the initial size of the text and the spacing and the after scaling scenario.

Dave, I think he’s wanting to animate the scale of one word, and the words around it will animate to keep the same distance from the scaled word. So the main word grows, and the other words move outwards around it to keep the same distance.

I think that’s what he means anyway 🙂
