  HELP!!! Having Print to Tape Problems

  Hello Everyone,

  I am having trouble printing a 30 min project to tape using Sony Vegas 8 (Platinum Pro Pack…not Vegas Pro 8) to a Sony DVCAM deck, using the DV/Firewire cable and port. I go to TOOLS>PRINT TO TAPE…etc. and select all the proper (even default) settings. Here’s what it does:

  It begins to render the project AGAIN…then it goes through 63 of 64 steps. It then triggers the record on the DVCAM deck, and while the DVCAM deck records BLANK, Vegas freezes at step 63 of 64, with a Print to Tape window stuck at 0%. It stayed stuck yesterday for over 3 hours.

  PLEASE HELP!!!!

  I set the INPUT on the DVCAM deck to DV. My Capture Video works fine from the same deck? Can anyopne assist?
