  To Wiggle or not to Wiggle?

  Hi,

  Every now and then my Wiggler refuses to work. It seems to happen if I try to apply it to a Comp, as opposed to footage or a still, etc.

  Basically, I do everything exactly the same as I always do for footage or a still eg. create and select two position keyframes, select the Wiggler, set it to Jagged (Noise Type), All Independently (Dimensions), Spatial Path, etc, set my Frequency and Magnitude (20, 10 for example) and “Apply”… and the keyframes apply to the Comp… but they don’t actually do anything!

  That is, the keyframes are there but they aren’t affecting the Comp in any way whatsoever. It’s the weirdest thing.

  Anyone have any ideas as to what (or what isn’t) happening here?

  Actually, to update:

  It won’t wiggle anything – let alone a Comp. Won’t wiggle a still, won’t wiggle footage.

  Annoying thing is I can see all those ‘wiggle’ keyframes sitting there… not wiggling anything.

  I tried a test. Quit After Effects, opened a new project and applied the Wiggler to a Solid. It worked! Yay! Now I’ll try it in my real-world work project – that I need it to work in.

  Apply it, get those lovely wiggle keyframes. Looks like it’s going to work… but… no 🙁

  AE you can be frustrating!

  Any hope out there?

  Perhaps there’s an expression applied that disregards the keyframes ?
