Hoping to get some help with importing swf files into Vegas

First, I create a flash animation in SwishMax 2 (1920×1080, 30fps) and export it as a .swf file (flash 5)

    then,

I create a new project in Vegas (1920×1080, 29.97fps) and add a raw clip from my Canon HF10 camera (AVCHD .mts file) onto the timeline.

When I add the .swf file to overlay, it appears to be about 1/10th of its original size, and it also appears in the upper-left of the overall project frame.

Any help would be most appreciated!

JR may be of some help to you here. Take a look at his tutorial- especially in how it relates to exporting for Vegas.

ALthough this posting is old it’s one a very few I can find on this matter on this forum. I am trying to add .swf effects to video also and using Adobe Fireworks to create the animations. I have the same problem with the overlay .swf showing in the upper left when testing the project but appears that it will render in the proper aspect for the end result and can’t fins any adjustment or setting to see it as I should during project creation. The .swf is in the exact same ratio as the movie clip background and I have tried ever combination of settings aspect ratio and no difference I can find. My biggest problem is that the objects I am adding as overlay look red and translucent, not what the item actually looks like. I can’t understand why it’s not working. The tutorial link above explains how to import it but not what the problem is. Any help in making the objects retaining their original look and also how to make it run as output during project would be appreciated. I’ll probably start a new thread on this but more specific. Thanks
