  Optimal Graphics Resolution

  I’m starting to create my intro and lower thirds and am curious to know if there is an optimal format, resolution or method to create and import custom graphics such as a logo or artwork.

  In a sense, if my video comes from a Canon HV30 in HDV mode (1920 x 1080) should I try to match that resolution on my original files prior to importing them into Vegas?

  I guess my rationale is to save SV from having to work harder than it needs if I can do some pre-work.

  I would keep them the same resolution 1920×1080 and never larger than 2Kx2K.
