  Vegas and ADVC

  I have an ADVC-55 and a Sony VCR. Have used this setup succesfully but now I don’t see the Canopus ADVC-55 within Vegas Capture. As far as I can tell all the connections are correct and indication light on ADVC is green for go.

  I cannot select tape capture. Spent the entire evening going nowhere.

  Hi there!

  Check if you can see your ADVC in the windows device manager.
  My ADVC50 shows up in device manager under imaging devices as AVC compliant device.
  If you don’t find it, check if your firewire port is present – shows up as OHCI compliant controller.
