January 7, 2009 at 2:15 amYup, it’s not only possible but it’s rather easy once you know how. Place the video of the computer on a bottom track and the picture you want to insert on the track above. Click the Track Motion button in the header of the track with the picture and resize and reposition it to cover just the computer screen.
If the computer screen is on an angle and you need to angle your picture, change the Track Motion from Source Alpha to 3D Source Alpha. You will then have the ability to spin the picture in the X, Y, and Z direction (up, down, left, right, forward, back).

January 7, 2009 at 12:21 pmWhat version of Vegas do you have? It sounds like you make have used Pan / Crop on the event instead of Track Motion on the track.

January 8, 2009 at 2:44 amI would make yout computer screen completely green, with Windows display settings, record a video of the monitor with the green screen, then chromakey out the green with the picture you want on the track underneath. This way even if the monitor was not square or has rounded corners, the picture will still fit perfectly. Hope this helps. Danny Hays
