HD EX3 to DVD 3
…seems that nobody has something to share about …. the quality of the HD movies (rendered as HD) is stunning with this camera, however, I’m still struggling to find the best method for making stunning SD-DVDs …. or maybe it is just not possible….

Why do you feel it’s not possible? I make stunning SD-DVD’s from my Sony HVR-Z1U footage. I just render as DVD Architect NTSC widescreen and AC3 Stereo and the results look far better than any SD footage I’ve ever placed on a DVD. Even my wife could tell the difference the first time she saw it (and she is not in the business so she’s a fair judge of consumer expectations)

..thanks for your response… I just want to read about some tips to make DVDs from the EX3 (not another camera) just look better … there are some artifacts that I don’t know how to deal with… the quality is not bad, but coming from previous cameras (GL2 and JVC HD110) maybe I have higher expectations … I think something happens on the Vegas downconvert process (at least from 1080p)to std. mpeg that I have to find out…
