Cannot Customize MP4 Settings
I’m currently working with Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9 and I noticed that some of the rendering types have the option to customize the settings by hitting the “Custom…” button in the dialog that opens after clicking Render As…
The option that I used to use with Vegas 7 was the MainConcept AVC/AAC codec to save videos as small .mp4 files. However, the “Custom…” button for this is grayed out, and I click it. Fortunately, my old custom settings that I had saved still appear in the drop down box labeled “Template:” so I can use my old settings for now, but if I need to change settings, it appears that I will not be able to.
Is there anyway to allow for custom settings with the MainConcept AVC/AAC codec within Sony Vegas 9, or will I have to save templates from Sony Vegas 7? There are other codecs which have this same problem where I can not click the “Custom…” button, and there are others where I am able to click it and customize the settings as I see fit, but I’m not sure what the difference is between those I can and cannot customize.
All help is welcome 🙂
Thanks in advance,
Tyler
