video FX won’t preview in Vegas 8 Pro
For some reason when I make adjustments to any video effect the result will not show in the preview window.
I have tested by rendering a small file and the effetcs show up in the rendered video.
However I sure need to see what and how much of an effect I am creating while editing and not have to render each time I try and do something.
This used to work just fine even with Movie Effects, but now not even a color correction will show in preview.
I am sure it must be something I did, but I cannot remember making any change that would make this happen, nor can I find anyplace to change that would bring back this functionaility.
Any suggestions?

There is an icon above the preview to enable and disable effects during preview (4th button from the left). Just click it back on.
