  audio fine, but NO VIDEO in Sony Vegas

  I used isofter DVD Ripper Platinum to rip a home movie DVD, and these .avi files play fine in Windows Media Player, BUT when I try importing the .avi files into Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 for editing, the file only shows the audio, NO VIDEO! Please Help!! Is this a codec issue?

  Yep…Seems to be a codec issue.
