hey i have used vegas for years and im having an issue with vegas 8, i have never had it before, it may be something stupid i have never learned, but anyway. when i push spacebar to stop/play latley almost 99% percent of the time the play icon on the bottom of the track section will indent and the little speed thing over the cursor on the left hand side will move to normal play speed, but the video wont play, BUT if i use the mouse to manually click the play button AFTER i have pushed space once, then it will play, but it will not play if i push space twice, and it will play if i click the play button with the mouse twice. if i close and restart the program it will work normally once then starts to bug again, if its something stupid feel free to call me out but anyhelp will be much appreciated it feels like i have no hands to edit.

Go into “preferences” and under the “general” tab,
check or uncheck the “make spacebar and F12 Play/Pause…..”
And see if things behave as they should.Steve Rhoden

nah did that already, i thought that was it, i like it to be play/pause so i already changed it back and forth a few times, i know its a wierd bug i have vegas movie studio the watered down version as well and that works just fine, but i only get a whopping four video tracks, so its not enough. it wierd i hit space everything moves like it SHOULD play even the frames under the video preview show the framerate pop up, but it doesnt play
