Hope someone has an idea. I am using Vegas Pro 8.0c. on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core machine, 2GB RAM, 2 X 750Gb hard drives, Radeon X1650 pro graphics card and a 19″ LCD flat panel.

When I first install Vegas, the scroll bars are there. When it is closed and then reopened, no more scroll bars. They are all blacked out. The functions seem to be there (if you can guess the right location) but sure can’t see what I am doing.

If I uninstall Vegas and reinstall I can get teh bars back, but again, once Vegas is closed there will nto appear again. Reboots don’t help, nor do registry cleaners, defrags, virus scans etc.

Ihave tried various settings on the graphics card to no avail.

I have tried uploading an image, not sure if that worked so here is a link https://www.uamtx.com/rl_scrn-1.jpg

    Any Ideas?

    1. Go to Options – Preferences in Vegas and turn off “Themes Support”
    2. Go into the Window’s THEMES and change back to the default one.

Thanks, I will try that… Though i have all the themes shut off and running XP in the best performance mode. So I will try first the adjustment in Vegas, if that doesn’t do it I will then try returning to the Windows XP default theme.

    Again, Many THANKS!
