    Hi,

I’m going slightly mad trying to get two text overlays in one track to show each other in Platinum 8.

I am doing this because I am trying to do the 007 thing and have it move into position so I can put a different title than Quantum of Solace onto a new video I am shooting. I can’t seem to get it all on one track so in order to save track space, I am trying to get the text overlays (of the Os) onto one track.

However when I joing these together, one O blanks out the other, even though they have clear backgrounds.

Can I do this and am I being stupid, or am I being stupid because I can’t do this in Vegas Platinum.

I may have to upgrade to Platinum Pro, but am worried I will have to restart my project if I do.

Any ideas very much welcomed (constructive!).

    Cheers!

Seems as though thats a limitation in platinum 8…
I am not at all familiar with its limitations or abilities.

Vegas Pro! I’ve had instances in my work where I’ve had my video track and 10 or more tracks directly above with text boxes (generated media) directly above minulipating each and every one.

Ok, so if I get you right, you are saying I have to get Vegas Platinum Pro.

Can I upgrade my existing Platinum, or do I have to buy the whole shebang. If I do go to Pro, I presume I won’t lose my other work from the regular Platinum?

Not Vegas Platinum Pro (still limited to 4 video tracks), Vegas Pro (unlimited tracks).
    See the difference for yourself.

Ok, I now have a problem in that it won’t install microsoft.net 3.0!!!

    Without this it won’t install.

Anyone else have this problem and how did you resolve it?
