  Don’t want time code on render

  I’m working on my first real Vegas Pro 8.0b project. Initially the director requested the actual DV timecode to be displayed on the render. I was able to get that but now I can’t seem to get rid of it.

  The timecode does disappear in the preview window when I select the split screen button. However, during render it reappears again.

  I believe I got the timecode with the supplied Sony video plug-in, but it was a while back so I can’t say for sure. I cannot see any video effects currently on any tracks.

  Do I have to recapture all of this video or is there a way to get rid of this timecode display in the bottom right hand corner?

  You may have applied it via script, in which case it can be removed via script, or you can look in the Project Media bin at the media containing the T/C. Or..it might be applied at the Project level, look at your Preview Window FX button (Green means it’s got a filter on it).
