  Boris FX – preview frozen?

  Hello.
  When I add a boris fx on clip then the boris application turn on. Until then everything seems to be okay. But whenever I try to watch the preview of the effect I used on some a video I see in a composite window just one image, which isn’t moving even though it should. Only when I accept changes and go back to vegas it starts to.

  I suppose something’s wrong with my settings, isn’t it?
  Any help will be appreciated…

  What you see is completely normal, since there is a kind of mis-communication between Vegas and its plugins (in this case Boris FX). The solution is rather simpel: render your scene to a new DV-avi file. Open Boris from within Vegas and use this new (copy) file on the video track in Boris. Add your effects, close Boris FX and the effect will be seen in your timeline.
