  Blu-ray in DVDA 5, “play” button remains after activation

  I just burned a 2 minute project to blu-ray iso on a dvd-r using DVD Architect 5. The menu is simple, just a background image with a “Play” button that is white text with the yellowish default text mask overlay. When I play the disc back in PowerDVD (with blu-ray support) the menu comes up, but after hitting Play, the video starts to play but that yellow mask remains during the entire video. I don’t have access to my PS3 here at work to try it on that. Has anyone experienced similar problems? Is it a setting I’m missing or could it be a glitch in the PowerDVD software?

  It seems you missed a particular setting during the initial
  setup in DvD Architect for that to occur.
  Make sure you always use the “preview Disc” feature
  to fully analyze how the disc will play when finished authored.

  Well yes it did look fine in the preview window. It’s when I played it in the PowerDVD 8 software after burning to a dvd-r that the problem occurred. I tried playing another bluray on dvd-r that we created on the macs then burned the .iso on my pc using DVDA5, and that just crashed my computer entirely. At this point I’m ready to just assume it’s PowerDVD8’s problem and not anything in DVD Architect.
