My Sony Vegas 8 has stopped reading all my avi and divx files. It simply says the both streams (video and audio) cannot be read. Does anyone know how I would go about fixing this?

did you recently change up your DivX decoder? If so, that’s the problem. Vegas depends on an independent decoder.

I did have some problems with mine and upgraded my divx player. What should I do about it?

Have you tried system restoring to a time before the divx update?
