  Rendering issues

  I am having problems rendering a 20 minute video, multiple AVHCD files, shot on an HDRSR12 in HD 1920×1080. My project is set-up as 1920-1080 but I am rendering to 1440×1080 which seems to be the best available, all are in suuround sound 5.1.

  My first issue is that the render freezes. The part of the video it freezes on is where I have speeded up the video. By decreasing the speed-up I am able to bypass that problem. What am I doing wrong – this has happened on a number of different scenes that I have tried it on.

  My second issue is that the project completed the render but when I import the output video into a new VEGAS project it only appears as a single audio channel – no video and no 5.1. I sm slowly working my way through the project re-rendering sections to see if I can spot where it is failing, any ides what I should look for?
