  Why is there a line there?? – Help!

  Every time I create an effect on Sony Vegas Pro 8.0, there’s a horizontal line on the top of the screen, ending about half-way across. It shows the original effect inside it. I’m wondering how I remove it… Help?

  sounds like you’ve clicked the SPLIT SCREEN VIEW button on the preview window. To the left of the quality dropdown (Preview/Good/Best etc)
