  • Create Menu that becomes animated when button selected

    Hi
I am using Vegas 6 and DVD Architect 4.
I want to create a menu so that when you select a certain next button that it plays an mpg that begins with the “menu” but is actually part of the mpg.
I know I am not being clear. So when you click a button on the menu it appears that the menu is starting to do things it hadn’t before.
I tried making the menu the size for ntsc widescreen, but when the mpg is played it is smaller than the menu size.
I want this to be as seemless as possible.
I hope someone can help, and thanks!!
    Dan

It sounds like you understand the mechanics of how to do it and you just need the menu to match size. I’m not sure what template you used to render but the DV Widescreen template should give you the exact same size as a widescreen DVD Architect menu. I’m not sure why the size would be any different if you rendered it correctly.

    Thanks for replying.
You are right about rendering the mpg as DV Widescreen in Vegas being the same as widescreen DVD Architect menu, but for some reason they just weren’t matching. I have since tested this again with a new project and it worked as I wanted. This time I used the same picture-still taken from Vegas snapshot(BEST QUALITY)as background in DVDA and as a new graphic in Vegas.
