Is there a way to apply tracking data to a roto mask?

I’m also wondering if such a technique is shown in Pete O’Connell’s Advanced Rotoscoping in After Effects DVD.

    Thanks in advance.

The “Editing and animating shape paths and masks” page of After Effects Help links to a script that allows you to apply tracking data to mask vertices.

This After Effects Community Help search returns several results here on the Creative COW forums in which folks give some other answers and insights to this question.

    Thanks, Todd.

Wow, I didn’t realize how silly-easy it was. It’s been a while since I’ve worked in AE and I’m starting a new gig on Monday where AE is the preferred app and I wanted to be ready. 🙂

    Cheers 🙂
