  HDV to HD capture?

  Hello everyone here in Vegas land, I have a Sony HDV camera. When I go component out of the camera live with out using tape, to my HDTV, the quality is better than when I capture m2t through fire wire and watch on the same HDTV. Has anyone ever captured live component from a HDV camera with a Black Magic HD card for example, and if so is the quality better than the firewire to m2t file. I play with the green screen alot and with the camera turned 90 deg and with good lighting I can get a pretty good key. I’m hoping coming straight from the camera chip I can get away from the 4.2.0 color space, the interlacing and the long GOP structure of m2t files. Thanks in advance,, Danny Hays
