  Closed Captioning

  Does anyone have suggestions on CC equipment/software that isn’t more expensive than my whole computer system? Also, suggestions/recommendations on a deck to burn to DVCPro tape for TV after CC is coded?

  Ron — you may have already resolved this so these may be bookmarks for info only.

  I use https://www.automaticsync.com for some captioning projects. I know you are looking for equipment and this is a service site where you can upload media and have it captioned for you (they will get a transcript done if you need one).

  For equipment I have used the folks at https://www.cpcweb.com/ and called with questions from time to time. Among other things they offer line 21 systems (tapes, broadcast).
