  Vegas 8 and “midi” music (.mid) ???

  Hello again,
  A question about Vegas 8, please:
  Does Vegas 8 accept .mid files (“midi” music) as input to its project media? If so, how? If not, what’s the best (least expensive, easiest) way to convert “midi” music into formats acceptable to Vegas?

  Nope. Vegas does like MP3 and OGG and a hundred of others 😉 Open Vegas (I’m using 8 pro) and go to import-media and look under the file types. They’re all there.

  For the MIDI’s I use, I have a Midi/MP3 converter program that does a great job and it was quite cheap, not free. Just Google “MIDI to MP3 converter” or “MIDI to OGG converter” and you’ll get a bunch of choices to check out.
