    Hi Vegas Pros,

I know by now the Star War credits effect has been run into the ground by now. I’m using Vegas Pro 8 and I have my credits coming from the bottom of the screen going into space, but when they get to the upper 1/3 area of the screen they seem not to get smaller, but they do fade away. The credits seem to stay the same size. It’s that depth perception of getting smaller in space and fading away that I’m missing. I played around for hours and now it’s time for help from the Pros.

    Thanks,

    Ralph Hajik

Ralph, make sure to use Track Motion for this AND to set it to “3D Source Alpha” in the dropdown box in the top right (underneath Preset).
Once you do that, set the X Rotation to -60 as a start.
    Adjust this as desired.
If you want the vanishing point to be higher up on the screen, set the Y Position to 50.
    Once again, adjust as desired.
    HTH.

Thanks for responding. I had no problem setting everything up the way you told me, just setting the varibles in the proper place. I’m pretty satisfied with what I have now after tweaking the numbers a little. These are my settings below.
