  M2t “save as” problem

  When “saving as” using avi clips, I have a choice of saving 2 seconds (or whatever amount I want) on the head and tail of my saved project thus saving a lot of hard drive space for video I don’t need.
  However, when doing the same thing when using M2t files, the option appears but in reality it saves the entire clip which can amount to tons of wasted hard drive space.
  Is Vegas ever going to correct this?
