  Log capture clips not working

  For some reason the fields to log clips for capture from HDV are grayed out in the Vegas capture module. I can capture, but I have to queue the tape and then stop manually, I can’t set in and out points and log several clips. What could be the problem? Could this maybe be related to my other problem of not being able to preview my timeline out to the camcorder?

  I stand to be corrected but I don’t think the HDV format offers this option.
