Text on colored gradient stripe in Pro Titler
How can text been introduced on top of a colored gradient stripe using V8 Pro Titler?

How do I do that with the Pro Titler?

Track 1 would be the protype titler
Track 2 would be your gradient stripe. You can create that with a Vegas color generated media or maybe use your graphics program. It doesn’t matter how you create the gradient.Edward Troxel

Is it possible to make the color gradient left to right and not top to bottom?

Assuming you’re talking about one of the color gradient presets in Vegas, all you need to do is to change the “Aspect Ratio Angle” to 0

If I understood correctly your suggestion it will cause the stripe to change from being parallel to x axis to being parallel to y axis but the color gradient, in both cases will be in 90 deg to the stripe direction.
What I mean is a narrow stripe which will go on the bottom of the frame (left to right) and its color will change also gradually from left to right. -
Create a full screen gradient from left to right and then use Pan/Crop and/or Track Motion to make the stripe the size you want and position it.
