  Has anyone test drive this new camera? and how it works in Vegas 8? Thanks in advance

  Works great in Vegas 8, no conversion needed, Vegas manages the streams at 1920 x 1080/full raster.

  Hello, When you said it worked in Vegas does that also include the HQ mode of the PMW EX1? I have XPro 5.8 & I’m told that won’t work with the 35 Mbs. I think I’ll try the Sony Vegas Pro 8.

  Does this sound like a good idea to you? Also in the Vegas literature it mentions burning a DVD from the timeline. Do you know if this is for Blu-ray also?

  Thank you for any help. I’m kind of a newbie.

  Vegas edits the footage from the EX in whichever format you choose to record. You can also use Vegas as a go-between with various formats, for import to FCS.
  Yes, you can burn a BD disc from the Vegas timeline.
