moving large groups
I have a 12 minute project that needs to have a new section put in the middle. What is the best way to move all the material on all tracks from a point in the timeline, to the right to make room for the interview? I have tried select all, and group but not having any luck. Thanks.

I routinely use Excalibur to do thatbut I think you can do it by the standard Windows method of holding down the left mouse button and drawing a box around all the events you want to move (thus selecting them) and then moving them.

I, too, use the select events tool in Excalibur for most of these things. However, as Terry mentioned, there is a selection tool which will let you select multiple events to be moved. Also, you can use the “Insert – Time” menu option if you know how much time you want inserted. And then there’s always the “Ripple” options. Many ways to perform this task.
